A MATH AND SCIENCE PROJECT FROM LITTLE EUROPEAN ARCHITECTS. AFTER ENJOYING SO MUCH WITH NUMBERS AND THE COLABORATIVE WAY OF WORKING LAST YEAR, WE CONTINUE THIS 2010 WITH COOPERATING IN ETWINNING PROJECTS.
This is the first floor of our school. Knowing that there are 5 classes(disposed in indian row) each having a perimeter of 14 meters can you find 3 different ways to transform the first floor, keeping constant though the total perimeter of the classes?
How a city grows up. A wonderful visit where all the elements of our setting can travel through our eyes. Ups and downs, bridges, buildings, roads... everything can be measure.
This video, selected by the pupils of C.P.R. AL-DEHECÚN, show clearly how geometry is in our architecture.
The team of architects studied few important buildings of our city and made a Power Point presentation. The second team was formed from little designers. They analised the plan of our school and found ideas to improve and optimise the space. They presented thier work on posters.
The children visualized the blog and they were enthusiast to work in this project.
Finally, we got it! We have the plan with the metres of the floor. We can now think about carpet squares, how many will we need to change the old squares by the new ones?
